Discover culinary highlights in the kitchens of "Mecklenburger ParkLand". The owners of several manor estates prepare dishes with regional specialties for and with their guests.

Plau cooks (April till October)
Sven chefs de cuisine invite guests to enjoy seven courses in seven restaurants. Each course is prepared by a different chef. Live cooking and live streams are a special highlight as the guests get the opportunity to watch the head cooks prepare their delicious meals.

Herring days in Wismar (every March)
Chefs of the Hanseatic City of Wismar offer different types of herring dishes. The event is opened by the traditional parade of the chefs marching from the Old Harbour to the historical market of Wismar.

Potato weeks in the Lewitz region (October)
The Lewitz region near the capital of Schwerin is an agricultural area where lots of potatoes grow. In October there are plenty of activities to celebrate the potato: many restaurants offer special potato dishes or people can try out a potato sauna. Two big open-air events open und close the potato weeks.
